Internship opportunity
Whilst on internship at Queensland Writers Centre, I was commissioned to create a promotional video for GenreCon based of a script Craig Cauchi - project Manger and short film maker had written. I was paired with a fellow QUT intern and together we devised our approach to the work and pitched ideas to Craig for approval. Once we had this approval we began to draw on our industry knowledge to distribute contracts to those creatives we needed to create this piece of work. We also devised schedules, shot lists and formulated cast call sheets and oversaw the collective production of the video, which was then vouched and showcased to the CEO Lori-Jay upon completion.
The project was based at Queensland Writers Center situated within Queensland State Library. This is were most of the project was discussed with Craig Cauchi - Project Manager. Queensland University of Technology (QUT) Kelvin Grove Campus was also used for this project as a key place of meeting for the fellow department heads and creatives brought on the to project.
